Developing your inclusive approach: This session will give delegates a framework in which to consider how they can develop an inclusive approach to their work, team and research. This session will provide some examples of how to do this and inspire delegates to develop their own approaches in a practical way.

Debra Fearnshaw and Emma Hadfield-Hudson completed a secondment to EPSRC in 2021 and together they developed a guide on Expectations for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, in consultation with the research community. These aim to help support the Engineering and Physical Sciences community to achieve greater equality, diversity and inclusion in their research environment and give some practical examples of how ED&I has been implemented. Debra is a Projects Manager within the Faculty of Engineering at University of Nottingham, managing 2 EPSRC research projects. Emma is EDI Coordinator at University of Nottingham within a team of coordinators supporting the five faculties.
